Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead development of project and objectives, stewardship of project tasks, governance frameworks and providing updates to key stakeholders.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities and create solution alternatives for supply chain stakeholders, providing analysis for recommendation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with project leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve strategic and operational alignment.
  • Change Management: Identify and plan change management activities to enable successful execution and value capture.
  • Best Practices: Adopt/provide improvement feedback on supply chain processes for initiative generation, prioritization, development, execution, value measurement, sustainment, and reappraisal.
  • Strategy Alignment: Ensure SC strategies are translated into process enhancement/direction and priorities.
  • Collaborate with S&OP to model cost-to-serve, risk simulation, and network optimization.
  • Govern SLO processes and ensure compliance.
  • Able to influence and collaborate across diverse, cross-functional global teams, executives and stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and drive customer-offer projects from initiation through submission, ensuring milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are met while managing risks and dependencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Job description

Summary

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Project Manager III to work on a 4-month assignment in their Facilities in Spring, TX. This role is a strategic leader responsible for developing and facilitating implementation of projects that deliver business value by understanding supply chain capability and mapping it to the needs of GBU; while optimizing working capital and reducing value leakage. The output is the Customer service level offer (SLO) that is aligned with Supply Chain strategic objectives and enabled through system integration. This role is responsible for setting the SLO standard for Company’s Product Solutions supply chain.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead development of project and objectives, stewardship of project tasks, governance frameworks and providing updates to key stakeholders.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities and create solution alternatives for supply chain and value chain stakeholders, providing analysis for recommendation
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with project leadership and x-functional stakeholders to achieve strategic and operational alignment
  • Change Management: Identify and plan change management activities to enable successful execution and value capture
  • Best Practices: Adopt / follow / provide improvement feedback on supply chain customer and service offer processes for consistent initiative generation, prioritization, development, execution, value measurement, sustainment, and reappraisal
  • Strategy Alignment: Ensure SC and value chain strategies are meaningfully translated into process (and supporting systems) enhancement / transformation direction and priorities
  • Collaborate with S&OP to model cost-to-serve, risk simulation, and network optimization
  • Govern SLO processes and ensure compliance.
