Job summary

Elbit America, Inc. invites an entry-level Project Manager II to join the Mobile Tactical Cannon program in Charleston. You will work closely with supply chain, material planning, and operations to manage cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction for defined development and production programs.

You will leverage ERP data, Excel, and Power BI to create reports, drive planning, and support continuous process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Material Planning Experience.
  • A bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience can be substituted for a degree.
  • Minimum 1-3 years related functional experience is required.
  • Basic knowledge of project management methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, and Project.
  • Basic knowledge of contracts: fixed price, cost plus, and time and materials is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize systems to gain data insights, especially for those related to Supply Chain, Material Planning, and Operations data.
  • Create reports and recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead the Program Team in Project Planning and Scheduling, with minimal supervision.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and control assigned project or program activities to ensure milestones and/or deliveries are completed on time and deadlines are met.
  • Apply best practices in project management to ensure projects: (1) are completed on time and within budget and scope, (2) produce a quality product, and (3) result in customer satisfaction.
  • Drive a culture of accountability to ensure all deliverables have been reviewed for completeness, accuracy, and quality prior to delivery to the customer.
  • Ensure project and product documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Maintain project records, prepare status reports, take meeting minutes, and ensure documents are accessible.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, both internal and external.
  • Basic ability to create and give project management review presentations, with minimal oversight.
  • Exhibit good future growth potential.
  • Participate in the proposal process, if and when needed.
  • Ensure contracts, purchase orders, and status reports are maintained, as required.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks, working with the team to maintain the risk register, and elevate to project leadership, as needed. Able to support the development of mitigation strategies and ensures risk as managed.
  • Adhere to applicable ITAR, TINA, FAR, Export Compliance, EMD, Safety, and Security requirements.
  • Proactively engage in continuous process improvement, bringing forward ideas and lessons learned to promote positive changes within the company.
  • This is an onsite role in our Charleston facility

The Project Manager II will typically be responsible for the cost, schedule, quality, customer satisfaction, and technical performance of a well- defined or established development program for a small system or component, or several production or logistics programs.
