Overview

Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid.

Peregrine is a pioneer within the cybersecurity industrial control systems and the Internet of Things, supporting many federal and commercial customers. Peregrine's experienced staff knows the cybersecurity and operational technology environment and provides these capabilities for our customers daily.

Summary:

The Project Manager II (Mechanical) is responsible for the coordination and completion of one or more mechanical systems projects. The Project Manager oversees all aspects of projects to include the following: sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management. May manage multiple projects concurrently.

Work in any of the following: DLA Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, VA (HQC), Defense Supply Center Richmond, VA (DSCR), Defense Supply Center Columbus, OH (DSCC), DLA Distribution Center Susquehanna, PA (DDSP), New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate the efforts of the other personnel (including sub- contractors) to ensure timeliness, quality deliverables, adherence to project scope, etc.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all required results and/or progress on projects.
  • Possess professional experience and rapport with colleagues that will enable assembling a credible team of experts to ensure mechanical systems projects are completed on time and budget.
  • Meet with the COR for Periodic Progress Meetings.
  • Complete all required security, safety and certification trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledgeable in commercial mechanical systems with mechanical contractor experience ideal.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale mechanical systems projects from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, time management and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships while effectively driving schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IAM Level I certification preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
