Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Project Manager II to lead a systems team on large-scale integrated systems construction projects. You will oversee low voltage and integrated specialty systems, ensuring planning, coordination, and execution on complex design-build environments.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience in managing complex systems construction projects and PMP/BICSI/RCDD certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing complex systems construction projects
  • Project Management Institute's PMP, BICSI's RTPM, RCDD certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Train and provide direction to Project Assistant and/or Project Manager I in maintaining project-required tracking devices
  • Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior PM or Division Manager
  • Participate in the supervision and training of Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within guidelines of corporate policies
  • Negotiate the terms and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project
  • Liaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities
  • Support construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget
  • Anticipate, prevent, and resolve potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines
  • Represent the company in project meetings
  • Direct the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a successful conclusion
  • Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager
  • Manage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest, and maintain a good relationship with the client
  • May assist with the development of new business opportunities

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Project Manager II will lead a systems team on various large-scale integrated systems construction projects. This role oversees all low voltage and integrated specialty systems, ensuring successful planning, design, coordination, and execution of highly technical installations in complex design and build environments.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in systems integration, low voltage infrastructure, and technology standards, with proven ability to manage multiple trades, vendors, and client expectations. The candidate should also have 5 to 7 years managing complex systems construction projects. Project Management Institute's PMP, BICSI's RTPM, RCDD certifications are a plus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • May train and provide direction to Project Assistant and/or Project Manager I in maintaining project-required tracking devices.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Due to the variety of work to be performed, the Project Manager II may be working at a job site or in the office.
  • General work environment - This position is performed primarily on active construction sites. Activity includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
  • Noise level is typically low to medium; can be loud on a job
  • Occasionally lifting of up to 30

Pay Range

$128,000.00-$191,900.00 Annual

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate's pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
