Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Project Manager II positions in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. The role focuses on guiding engineering and IT projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery for DoD and corporate clients.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of PM experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with PM tools such as MS Project, Excel, and Power BI. A proactive, detail-oriented leader with excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of project/program management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience managing or supporting complex IT or engineering programs/projects.

• Assist with reporting, PMRs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders.

Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Project Manager II in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Position Type

Contingent on Contract Award.

Salary

$85k-$145k (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and execution aligned with cost and schedule objectives.
• Track project performance, risks, and issues.
• Assist with reporting, PMRs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with program processes and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in program/project management or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience managing or supporting complex IT or engineering programs/projects.
• Knowledge of project management principles (cost, schedule, risk).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, DAWIA PM).

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs.
• Familiarity with EVM and program reporting.
• Experience with PM tools (MS Project, Excel, Power BI).

Additional Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments.

Security Clearance

• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
