Job summary

Framatome North America is seeking a Project Manager to lead a well-defined, single product line commercial project. You will prepare plans, schedules, and materials to achieve quality, reliability, cost, and timing targets while coordinating with management and clients.

The role requires strong PM fundamentals, customer focus, and experience leading project teams in nuclear-related contexts. On-site work in Richland, WA with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline (Nuclear, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical).
  • Experience with Fuel Utility Customers in a business/technical setting.
  • Experience leading project teams (technical/commercial).
  • Knowledge of PM fundamentals with customer focus.
  • Knowledge of Fuel Manufacturing and/or Fuel Design processes.

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
  • Provides project leadership for well-defined, single product line commercial projects.
  • Prepares project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
  • Utilizes approved project management methods and processes to execute low risk projects of existing technology and methods to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Provides primary interface between project team, management and client.
  • Coordinates multiple project activities including organizing and directing personnel, materials and equipment; utilizes team building skills to ensure satisfactory project performance.
  • Defines and forecasts needed skills to meet project objectives.
  • Manages the timely issuance and payment of customer invoices.
  • Expected to achieve and continue to maintain Framatome PM Certification.

Preferred Skills:

  • BS or MS in an engineering discipline (Nuclear, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical).
  • Experience interacting with Fuel Utility Customers in a business and/or technical teamwork environment.
  • Experience leading project teams (technical and/or commercial).
  • Knowledge of Project Management fundamentals and implementation with strong customer focus
  • Knowledge or Fuel Manufacturing and/or Fuel Design processes.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Minimum of 6 years related experience, included is a minimum of 2 years of project-related experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced business and/or technical expertise in a related technical or professional capacity.
  • Knowledge of project-related processes.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills with emphasis on 'root cause' analysis.
  • Excellent report development and presentation skills.

Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: $109,000 - $148,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
