Job summary

Framatome North America in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead a single product line through planning, execution, and delivery. You will coordinate teams, manage schedules, and ensure quality, cost, and timing objectives are met.

You will interface with clients and management, forecast skill needs, and monitor cash flow while pursuing Framatome PM Certification. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience, including 4 years in project-related roles.
  • Advanced business and/or technical expertise in a related field.
  • Knowledge of major project-related processes.
  • Knowledge of nuclear safety issues and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provides project leadership for moderately complex single product line projects.
  • Prepares project plans/schedules/materials to achieve quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
  • Utilizes approved project management methods and processes.
  • Provides primary interface between project team, management and client.
  • Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
  • Coordinates multiple project activities including organizing personnel, materials and equipment; builds teams to ensure performance.
  • Defines and forecasts needed skills to meet objectives.
  • Manages cash flow and ensures attainment of expected cash position.
  • Aims to achieve and maintain Framatome PM Certification.

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
  • Provides project leadership for moderately complex single product line projects.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 8 years related experience, included is a minimum of 4 years of project-related experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced business and/or technical expertise in a related technical or professional capacity.
  • Knowledge of major project-related processes.
  • Good knowledge of nuclear safety issues and requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
  • Excellent problem identification and problem resolution skills with emphasis on 'root cause' analysis.
  • Excellent report development and presentation skills.

Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: $115,000-$156,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
