Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to oversee planning, execution and close-out of construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and quality.

You will lead scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, and coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to maintain momentum and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of project management experience in construction or infrastructure.
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of PM methodologies; PMP preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction docs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to close-out.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, WBS, timelines, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and maintain momentum.
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets.
  • Oversee quality control and safety programs; ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts, change orders, and disputes; mentor team.

Job description

As a Project Manager at Primoris Services Corporation, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and closing of various construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects from initiation through close-out, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget control.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, timelines, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate risks and maintain project momentum.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial targets and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee project quality control and safety programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
  • Negotiate contracts, change orders, and dispute resolutions with clients and subcontractors.
  • Mentor and supervise project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the construction or infrastructure industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP certification preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
