Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a Project Manager/Coordinator in Horsham, PA to oversee schedules, budgets, and supporting documentation, aligning with business goals. You will manage small- to mid-sized projects independently and lead workstreams within larger programs.

You will coordinate across engineering, operations, vendors, and clients, track milestones and risks, deliver regular status updates, and work with finance on costs and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of project management experience, preferably in engineering, automation, logistics, or related industries.
• 3-5 years in an engineering or business role with increasing project responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects or workstreams with increasing independence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and supporting documentation; ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
• Manage small- to mid-sized projects independently, and lead specific workstreams within larger, complex projects.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, operations, vendors, and clients to drive progress and resolve conflicts.
• Track project milestones, risks, and issues; recommend and implement corrective actions.
• Provide regular status updates and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting key decisions, risks, and progress.
• Collaborate with finance teams to track project costs, forecasts, and variances against budget.
• Facilitate risk assessments and contribute to mitigation strategies across multiple projects.
• Support field activities including installations, testing, and commissioning; identify gaps and escalation recommendations.
• Mentor or provide guidance to junior project coordinators or PM I team members.
• Ensure adherence to quality, compliance, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Demonstrated ability to manage projects or workstreams with increasing independence. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Project Online, or similar). Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact across functions and with external partners.

Preferred/Desirable Skills

Exposure to automation, logistics, robotics, or related technical fields. Familiarity with technical drawings and engineering documentation. Ability to contribute to problem-solving discussions under guidance. Interest in building project management expertise and pursuing PMP or similar certification over time.
