Description

Help Shape the Future of Education.

Communities are investing in their schools like never before. As districts pass levies, campuses expand, and learning environments evolve, the opportunity to make a lasting impact has never been greater.

At HEAPY, we believe the spaces where students learn, teachers inspire, and communities gather should be thoughtfully designed to support future generations. We're looking for a Project Manager to help lead that work in our growing Education Practice.

This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager who brings a strong foundation in engineering design and has grown into leading projects, teams, and client relationships. You'll use your technical experience to understand the work and guide multidisciplinary teams, while focusing your time on project leadership, strengthening client partnerships, and identifying opportunities to grow our work across K-12 schools, colleges, and universities.

Why This Role Matters

As a Project Manager, you'll be a trusted advisor to clients, guiding projects from initial conversations through successful completion while ensuring an exceptional client experience every step of the way. You'll collaborate with engineers, designers, architects, and construction partners to bring complex educational projects to life—all while helping strengthen and grow long-term client relationships.

With continued investment in educational facilities across the region, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future of schools and campuses that serve students for decades to come.

What You'll Do

  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects serving K-12 school districts, colleges, and universities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted partner throughout each project.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate engineering teams across multiple disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and helping win future work.
  • Partner with practice leaders to grow HEAPY's Education portfolio throughout the region.
  • Foster collaboration while delivering a Superior Client Experience on every project.

Why HEAPY?

At HEAPY, we're more than an engineering firm—we're a team committed to building a more sustainable, healthy, and resilient world. Our Colleague First culture encourages collaboration, flexibility, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Here, you'll have the opportunity to develop lasting client partnerships, mentor talented colleagues, and help create educational environments where students and communities thrive.

If you're looking for a leadership role that combines engineering expertise, relationship building, and meaningful project work, we'd love to meet you.
