Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. in California is seeking a Project Manager 1 for its California Building office to lead contract administration, safety, budgeting, scheduling and stakeholder coordination on a medium-size project.

You will drive design, cost control, and quality compliance while mentoring team members and ensuring value engineering opportunities are pursued to benefit the project schedule and client goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive construction experience with leadership preference.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices, OSHA guidelines, and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall contract administration, technical expertise, and support to a medium size construction project.
• Develops safety plan and leads health and safety practices and procedures.
• Ensures project aligns with design, budget, resources, quality, and schedule.
• Negotiates and issues subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitors progress.
• Develops and coordinates overall project closeout and risk management.
