Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Project Manager I to join our hybrid within the Chesapeake Utilities Territory. The incumbent works under close supervision and is expected to progressively develop skills in project delivery, stakeholder management, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, and project leadership.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, construction, procurement, operations, and other functional teams; supporting schedules, budgets, and reporting;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 0-3 years of project management, engineering, construction, operations, or related experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and maintenance of project execution plans.
• Coordinate project activities with engineering, construction, procurement, operations, and other teams.
• Support development and maintenance of project schedules and milestone tracking.
• Assist with monitoring project budgets, commitments, and expenditures.
• Collect and report project performance information and KPIs.
• Participate in project team meetings and document actions and decisions.
• Support project risk identification, tracking, and mitigation activities.
• Maintain project documentation, meeting records, and governance requirements.
• Assist with change management and project reporting processes.
• Support project closeout activities and lessons learned documentation.
