HNTB is seeking a Project Manager to lead aviation projects across the Pacific Northwest and national scope. The role involves full lifecycle management, scope development, contract oversight, and coordinating cross-discipline teams to deliver on schedule, budget, and quality.
The candidate will manage project teams, mentor staff, and interact with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes across multiple offices including Bellevue, Seattle, Denver, and Salt Lake City.
The HNTB Bellevue (Seattle, WA) office is looking for Engineering graduates with 8 years of experience, including 2 years of task or project management experience, to join our Aviation Department as a Project Manager. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that delivers diverse and challenging engineering projects at airports in the Pacific Northwest as well as across the nation. The successful candidate with lead aviation projects, supervise junior staff and strengthen relationships in our region.

This opportunity entails being responsible for managing assigned project(s) throughout their full lifecycle including developing the scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents to participating in contract negotiations and overseeing the delivery of the project plan to successfully accomplish HNTB’s 4 for 4 performance: delivery of quality work, on time, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction on every project. This position proactively manages the budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications in support of the project’s objectives. Provides high level technical tasks while managing and reviewing design related specifications, calculations, reports and plans. Coordinates with internal and external partners including cross-discipline and functional teams to address and problem solve design related issues or concerns. The Project Manager I - Engineering typically manages project team(s) for one or more strategic (<$1M) projects or may lead and/or work as a discipline lead on a mini-mega ($1M to <$5M) project management team.

The approximate pay range for Washington is $152,341.01 - $238,276.98. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position based on all selected locations within the state at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
The approximate pay range for Colorado is $139,645.93 - $218,420.56. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position based on all selected locations within the state at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
