Project Manager- HVAC
Hybrid position located in Boston, MA area
Our client is a leader in energy-efficient HVAC/R system engineering, design-build services, proactive maintenance, emergency response, and compliance support for organizations with mission-critical mechanical systems. Role Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and deliver HVAC and energy projects on time and under budget. You’ll be responsible for resource allocation, budgeting, progress monitoring, stakeholder communication, and mentoring project team members. This is a hybrid position with travel to project sites across New England.Key Responsibilities
● Lead project execution, scheduling, and coordination between internal teams and clients
● Interface with clients, owners, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
● Manage project scope, budgeting, invoicing, and change orders
● Conduct job site inspections, safety analyses, and quality control reviews
● Attend project meetings and weekly internal scheduling meetings
● Hire, mentor, and lead project team members
● Maintain daily project logs and ensure accurate documentation in the corporate system
● Review project cost reports and variance
Required Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with relevant experience also considered● 5+ years of experience in project management of mechanical / HVAC system
● Strong background in HVAC, energy systems, and Industrial projects● Experience developing and reviewing engineering drawings, submittals, and technical specifications
● Ability to perform system calculations, review technical drawings and specifications
● Skilled in project estimation and project controls● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)● Comfortable and willingness traveling to job sites across New EnglandWhy Join Our Client?
