Job summary

The City of Riverside is accepting applications for the position of Project Manager to fill one vacancy in the Homeless Outreach Division of the Housing and Human Services Department. The eligibility list established may be used to fill the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification for up to six months.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration, urban planning or a related field; a Master's Degree or graduate level coursework is desirable.
• Four years of professional experience in economic development, redevelopment, housing, marketing, urban planning, real estate development, or related field; a Master's Degree may substitute for one year of the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies, policies and programs related to the delivery of homeless programs and services.
• Coordinate with other Divisions, City Departments, and outside agencies to coordinate timely service delivery.
• Provide professional and technical staff assistance; and do related work as required.
• Establish and maintain electronic database and contract management programs or capital improvement project tracking systems.
• Coordinate with departments, utility companies, non-profit organizations and affected parties to facilitate timely completion of projects.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Public or Business Administration, Urban Planning or related field

Master's Degree desirable
