Job summary

GH Engage is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a ground-up high-rise residential project in New Jersey. The role demands hands-on leadership from a GC background, overseeing field and office teams and coordinating with executives, superintendents, and subcontractors to drive execution.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, cost control, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and client reporting, ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on GC background required.
• 5–10 years of construction management experience on ground-up residential projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of Tri-State operations and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle project delivery from preconstruction to closeout.
• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and buyout processes.
• Management of CPM schedules, sequencing, and two-week look-aheads.
• Oversight of subcontractor procurement, coordination, and performance.
• Leadership of Project Engineers, APMs & field teams.
• Management of RFIs, submittals, change orders & client reporting.
• Oversight of safety, quality control & compliance standards.
• Client-facing leadership throughout all project phases.
• Close coordination with field operations to maintain schedule and productivity.

We are partnering with a well-established Tri-State General Contractor with a family-led, developer-builder approach and a strong track record delivering ground-up high-rise residential developments throughout the region.

With a growing pipeline of work concentrated in Hudson County, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a ground-up high-rise residential project.

This role is ideal for a hands-on builder from a GC background with 5-10 years of experience managing ground-up residential projects.

The successful candidate will act as the operational lead on the project, working closely with Executive Leadership, Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership teams to drive successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full lifecycle project delivery from preconstruction through closeout
• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, cost control & buyout processes
• Management of CPM schedules, sequencing & two-week look-aheads
• Oversight of subcontractor procurement, coordination & performance

Requirements:
