Job summary

The Great Lakes Construction Co. is seeking a Project Manager to lead start-up activities, scheduling, cost control, and financial reporting on complex heavy civil projects.

The PM will coordinate with estimators, subcontractors, and the owner to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget, driving successful project outcomes. Responsibilities include leading planning meetings, managing submittals/RFI processes, and mentoring Assistant PMs and Project Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Educational equivalent or relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Registered Professional Engineer (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of project schedule ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Supervise project buyout with the estimator and manage submittals/RFI process.
• Lead planning meetings and review cost-to-complete reports; mentor junior staff.
