Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Project Manager for heavy civil construction. You will manage civil projects from concept to completion, coordinating with clients and subs to meet schedule, budget, and safety targets.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy civil PM, ability to read grading and utility plans, and strong leadership to guide field crews. Competitive salary with performance bonus and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil PM experience.
• Ability to read and interpret grading and utility plans, specifications, and geotechnical information.
• Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials for earthwork and site utility projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, safety, equipment maintenance and use, and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong aptitude in math and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills – ability to manage multiple personality types to lead, motivate, and teach crews while maintaining a harmonious work environment.

Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction

Basics:

Our growing client is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to manage civil projects from concept to completion (cradle to grave). The selected candidate will possess strong understanding of civil construction processes (including underground utilities, rock-heavy sitework challenges, etc).
This role needs a strong knowledge of the civil construction industry, excellent communication skills, and proven track-record for delivering projects on time, within budget, and safely executed.

Ground-level Duties:

• Attending all client / sub meetings to understand project specific requirements.
• Compare budget and bid documents to check for alignment.
• Develop site-specific project plans
