RIPPLE EFFECT CONSULTING LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex heavy civil construction across the upper Midwest. You’ll own the schedule, budget, and owner relationship, with minimal layers between you and decision-makers.

Responsibilities include directing field engineering, managing subcontractors, and overseeing cost forecasting. Travel is 25-50% for long-term Midwest projects, requiring strong CPM and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in heavy civil construction project management on U.S. projects.
• Proven CPM scheduling, estimating, and subcontractor management.
• Willingness to travel to long-term project sites across the Midwest.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.

Job description

We are looking for a Project Manager to manage complex heavy civil construction project throughout the upper mid-west region. We work on hydroelectric dams, tunnels, and underground and geotechnical projects that most contractors won't take on, and our project managers own the whole job: the schedule, the budget, and the owner relationship. There are no layers between you and the decision. If you have been running work inside a larger contractor and want a job where the project is actually yours, this is that job.

What You'll Do

Travel Our projects are long-term assignments across the Midwest, often away from home. Project related travel is typically 25-50%. We offer competitive traveler benefits for projects away from the office.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum 5 years experience heavy civil construction project management on U.S. based projects
• Proven CPM scheduling, estimating, and subcontractor management
• Willingness to travel to long-term project sites across the Midwest
• Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without employer sponsorship
• A plus, not a requirement: dam, hydro, tunnel, or geotechnical project exposure; EIT certification; survey or layout experience; an internship with a heavy civil or underground contractor.

Pay And Benefits

• $105,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience and project scope
