Job summary

The Hagerman Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large healthcare construction projects from initiation to closeout. You will manage scope, budget, schedule, safety, and quality while sustaining strong client relationships.

You will work with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to ensure seamless project execution, using your leadership to guide teams and keep projects on track in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management; healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction and project management tools (e.g., Procore, CMiC, ASTA, Excel, Bluebeam).
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, initiate, and manage construction projects in alignment with design documents, budgets, schedules, and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans, scopes, and execution strategies.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety and quality standards.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project schedules, budgets, and reports for stakeholders.
  • Manage procurement of materials and services, including contract negotiation and timely deliveries.
  • Lead and support project teams, providing direction to subcontractors and internal staff.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and building codes.
  • Foster a collaborative, safety-focused work environment.

Hagerman is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a proven track record delivering large-scale healthcare projects. A Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) credential or comparable certification is preferred. Candidates who do not currently hold this certification must be willing to obtain it within the first six months of employment.

Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for successfully managing assigned construction projects from start to finish, delivering results within established scope, budget, schedule, safety, and quality standards. This role involves planning and coordinating construction activities, overseeing field operations, managing project finances, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Working independently to achieve clearly defined objectives, the Project Manager partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management; healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and project management best practices.
  • Proficiency with construction and project management tools, including Procore, CMiC, ASTA, Excel, and Bluebeam.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
