Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager for ground-up construction projects in South Florida. This role involves leading a project construction team, overseeing project management from planning to completion, and ensuring financial success. The Project Manager will also mentor on-site staff and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage personnel and resources for the project
  2. Assist with preconstruction efforts
  3. Oversee all aspects of the project from inception to completion
  4. Develop and execute the company’s development and construction plans
  5. Prepare trade contracts and bid packages; oversee procurement
  6. Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, and construction activities
  7. Collaborate with the Superintendent on project planning and execution
  8. Monitor project performance, schedule, costs, and change management
  9. Maintain relationships with designers, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors
  10. Lead project meetings, including progress and pre-construction meetings
  11. Review inspection and test data for compliance
  12. Develop site logistics plans with the Superintendent
  13. Oversee site safety programs in partnership with safety consultants and the Superintendent
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  2. At least 5 years of experience in Core/Shell and Interior construction
  3. Knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, and engineering drawings
  4. OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour Construction Safety certifications
  5. Supported Scaffold User Certificate (4 hours)
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, Project, and Timberline
