Your new company

This firm has been in business for the past 10 years and is taking over the green roof construction industry by storm. They are super well-established in NYC and work with the big developers like Related Companies, and also large GCs on mega-projects like Turner, Tishman, Skanska, etc. This company is responsible for every tree you see on a building in NYC. That world-famous skyline has been directly impacted by this company. They began work 10 years ago and have found a foothold that has enabled them to grow to other cities. Now operating in DC, California, and other major metro areas across the country. They are looking for someone to oversee their NYC operation!

Your new role

As the lead Project Manager for the NYC market, you would oversee multiple projects at different stages in construction. For example, right now, they have 20 projects in the pipeline with 3 in construction. As the Project Manager, you would visit the site as needed. That is IT. There is no requirement to be in office nor on site, other than "as the project requires." This role can be remote, hybrid, or in-office. It is really up to you!

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5 years in construction in NYC (as an APM and/or PM).

• Minimum 5 years' experience working for a General Contractor in NYC.

• Landscaping-related degree ideal, but Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management preferred.

• Passion for environmental projects.

• Commercial office/commercial construction project experience required.
