Hitachi Energy in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking a Project Manager – Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) to lead complex engineering projects. You will guide cross‑functional teams, coordinate with global fabrication sites, and ensure projects meet customer, contractual, and financial targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience managing engineering or high‑voltage equipment projects; GIS experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• PMP certification preferred; ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams, define guidelines, and allocate tasks across functions.
• Develop project plans covering scope, financials, scheduling, and risk.
• Track progress and optimize resources to meet milestones.
• Coordinate product fabrication with internal partners and remote factories.
• Manage financials, including invoicing, cost control, and cash flow.
• Identify and act on project risks, opportunities, and lessons learned.
