WHAT YOU’LL DO

This role oversees the development and delivery of educational tools and programs supported by NKF’s corporate partners, from inception to execution. Responsibilities include planning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring project alignment across teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

The Project Manager/Fulfillment Director collaborates with departments such as corporate relations, programs, scientific activities, IT, and marketing to meet and exceed performance targets and foster a positive work environment.

  1. Partner with relevant departments to ensure effective collaboration across program areas, technologies, and channels to meet funding and program goals.
  2. Create and manage project work plans, defining requirements and success metrics, and developing staff and capacity plans.
  3. Collaborate on evolving project delivery processes and tracking tools for real-time progress assessment and accountability.
  4. Monitor project execution, ensuring team members deliver their assigned tasks.
  5. Manage and document project status, ensuring proper tracking and interdepartmental coordination.
  6. Proactively identify resource needs and alert resource managers to gaps or capacity issues.
  7. Mitigate risks by anticipating barriers, assessing impacts, and developing solutions collaboratively.
  8. Document scope or workplan changes and communicate with stakeholders as needed.
  9. Prepare fulfillment reports for sponsors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Ability to work under deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Effective interaction with all management levels
  • Quick thinking and follow-through capabilities

WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 25 lbs; flexibility to work evenings and weekends; overnight travel may be required
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation required
