Job description

Team AFLV is hiring a Project Manager for Content! This is a remote position available to candidates based within continental U.S. time zones. Preferred start date is September 2025.

PROJECT MANAGER FOR CONTENT
At AFLV, we’re committed to challenging conventional thinking and accelerating progress in the fraternity/sorority experience.

As the Project Manager for Content, you’ll play a central role in driving forward AFLV’s educational resource and communication priorities. This position requires a strategic thinker and organized executor—someone who can connect the dots between ideas and implementation.

You’ll be responsible for guiding key projects from initial concept through completion, ensuring clarity of purpose, alignment with organizational goals, and timely delivery. Working across Team AFLV staff, volunteers, and alongside a talented network of freelancers and contractors, you’ll help bring educational resources and marketing strategies to life, all while ensuring the high-quality standard our community has come to expect.

We’re seeking a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Agility, fanatical attention to detail, and a clear, direct communication style are essential to success here. You’ll be responsible for not only managing your own workflow and partnering with Team AFLV staff, but also strategically directing the work of outsourced partners—ensuring every project meets our standards of excellence.

If you’re energized by challenging conventional wisdom and driving meaningful change in the fraternity/sorority community, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead cross-functional projects specific to educational resource development and marketing & communications, from concept to completion, including understanding and aligning goals, contributing to strategic planning, developing timelines and coordinating work outputs to ensure outcomes are achieved efficiently and effectively.

Content Leadership
Shape organizational content priorities, helping guide the strategy, creation and delivery of educational content.

Digital Resource Development
Manage the creation and delivery of AFLV’s digital educational resources, including Connections Online, digital articles, and resource catalogs.

Collaboration and Curation
Partner with staff, volunteers, and community contributors to curate, review, and prepare educational and marketing content for freelance/contractor work or community distribution.

Outsourcing Oversight
Source and serve as the primary point of contact for freelance and contracted services related to:

- Marketing & Communications: social media, graphic and web design, copywriting, audience segmentation, communications strategy

- Educational Resource Development: content creation, Connections articles, resource management
Freelance/Contract Management

Develop clear scopes of work, establish expectations and contingency plans, and ensure contract and budget alignment for all outsourced partners.

Workflow Coordination
Direct freelance/contractor timelines, quality assurance processes and deliverables to ensure seamless integration into AFLV programs and platforms.

Quality Control
Review all outsourced deliverables for consistency, brand compliance and excellence before final projection completion and/or approval.

Asset Organization
Oversee the cloud-based organization of marketing and content assets, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval.

Materials Management
Order, maintain, inventory and organize physical and digital content and marketing materials.

Volunteer Engagement
Support and supervise volunteer workgroups and committees connected to content and marketing efforts.

On-Site Program Support
Attend AFLV in-person programs (e.g. conferences, UIFI) and take responsibility for areas aligned with the duties of this job to ensure an outstanding onsite experience, including implementing a content plan.

Team Responsibilities
As a member of the AFLV team:

Execute with Excellence
Commit to the AFLV Operating System, and use it as the foundation for carrying out all job responsibilities.

Relationship Building
Develop and sustain positive relationships within and beyond the fraternity/sorority industry.

Professional Development
Pursue ongoing learning to deliver best-in-class programs and services.

People Support
Deliver consistent, helpful support to campuses, partners, and other stakeholders engaged with the AFLV experience, ensuring every interaction reflects the organization’s commitment to responsiveness and quality.

Strategic Direction
Actively participate in shaping AFLV’s future by contributing to discussions on organizational direction, evaluating the effectiveness of existing initiatives, and identifying opportunities for new programs and services that align with the evolving needs of our community.

External Representation
Attend and represent AFLV at select industry events and conferences.

Location
This is a remote position available to candidates based within continental U.S. time zones. An in-person onboarding session (approximately 3–4 days) will occur upon hire, with all travel expenses covered by AFLV. Please indicate your preferred working location in your application.
