Under general supervision, you will coordinate design, procurement, delivery, and installation of office furniture, manage relocations, read drawings, supervise vendors, and ensure projects stay on budget and schedule.

Under general supervision, facilitates, coordinates and expedites the development, design, review, approval, and construction of County capital building projects and renovations with a prime focus on Furnishings and Fixtures and Equipment (FFE). This is commercial construction of various levels including new buildings requiring design, bid and construction. Each Specialist must manage multiple projects concurrently.

Possession of a high school diploma or an appropriate equivalent
plus six years’ experience in sub-professional engineering, construction (preferably construction), construction inspection, or a closely related field.
(Additional qualifying education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of four years for the required experience.)
Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a noncommercial class C Maryland driver's license is required at the time of appointment.

Sick Leave - Monthly sick leave earnings prorated based on the number of hours worked per week. No maximum on accrual. Accrued balance can be applied toward service credit at retirement.
Vacation Leave - Monthly vacation leave earnings prorated based on the number of hours worked per week. Earnings increase after five, ten and fifteen years of service generally.
Holidays - Part-time 30 to 39 hour non-merit or non-classified employees will generally be paid for ten holidays per calendar year. Other part-time, non-merit or non-classified employees working 29 hours per week or less will receive two paid holidays per calendar year. These holidays are the Christmas holiday and the Independence Day holiday.
