Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • 5–10 years of experience managing medium‑to‑large commercial construction projects.
  • Federal project experience (USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC) preferred.
  • Experience reading blueprints, specs, and proposals; able to coordinate time, cost, and labor estimates.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills; strong written and oral communication.
  • US citizenship or permanent work authorization required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute federal, municipal, and private‑sector projects with emphasis on mission‑critical federal work.
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and site superintendents.
  • Develop budgets, schedules, logistics, and construction service plans with engineering teams.
  • Review design documents for scope, contract compliance and standards.
  • Produce reports on progress, risks, and finances.
  • Travel 20–30% to project sites to monitor activities.
  • Lead project meetings from pre‑award to close‑out.
  • Build strong client relationships across sectors.
  • Develop site logistics plans and staffing with Site Superintendent.
  • Oversee procurement, cost control, and change management.
  • Perform field inspections to verify quality and safety.
  • Uphold QA/QC and safety standards with EH&S.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute federal, municipal, and private‑sector construction projects, with an emphasis on mission‑critical federal work.
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, and site superintendents
  • Work with engineering teams, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, logistics plans, and construction service plans.
  • Review design documents for compliance with scope, contract requirements, and company standards.
  • Produce project reports covering progress, risks, and financial performance.
  • Travel between 20-30% to project sites to monitor construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project meetings including pre-award, pre‑construction, project progress and final close‑out.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across federal, municipal, and private sectors.
  • In coordination with the Site Superintendent, develop and manage site logistics plans and staffing assignments.
  • Oversee procurement process, cost control, and change management systems.
  • Perform field inspections to verify quality and accuracy of construction.
  • Establish and oversee QA/QC procedures.
  • Uphold core safety values of the company and collaborate with the EH&S Director to effectively communicate and enforce safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • 5–10 years of experience managing medium‑to‑large commercial construction projects for a general contractor is required.
  • Federal project experience (USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and proposals; capable of coordinating time, cost, and labor estimates.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to delegate work appropriately.
  • Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Travel:
  • Between 20-30% overnight/outside CO
Other Requirements:
  • You must be a US Citizen or have permanent work authorization.
  • You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
Benefits & Compensation:

  • Salary range: $100,000-$130,000/annual based on experience, plus eligible to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan.
