Job summary

yohrs.co.uk is seeking a Project Manager for EV Installations to lead end-to-end delivery of charging infrastructure projects in the US from a remote Canada base. You will coordinate customers, contractors, utilities, and internal teams to keep projects on time and within scope.

You will review site surveys, electrical docs, and installation requirements while communicating with customers and escalating issues when needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Project Management or related fields.
• Experience coordinating contractors, field service providers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Background in EV charging, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, or similar tech industries.
• Ability to interpret technical docs, site surveys, and installation requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects in the US.
• Coordinate customers, contractors, field service partners, suppliers, utilities, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Lead installation planning, project scheduling, commissioning activities, and customer handovers.
• Review site surveys, technical documentation, electrical drawings, and infrastructure requirements.
• Proactively identify and resolve project risks, delays, technical issues, and customer escalations.
• Act as the primary customer contact throughout the installation lifecycle, providing clear communication and regular project updates.
• Ensure installation readiness, hardware availability, network connectivity, commissioning, and operational performance.
• Maintain accurate project reporting, forecasting, documentation, and performance tracking within Salesforce.
• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery, installation processes, and customer experience.

We're partnering with a global EV charging business to recruit a Project Manager, EV Installations. This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-impact charging infrastructure projects in the US. As the primary point of contact for customers, installation partners, and internal stakeholders, you'll oversee projects from initial handover through installation, commissioning, and go-live, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and successful project delivery every step of the way.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' experience in Project Management, Technical Delivery, Installations, Operations, or Customer Implementation.
• Experience managing contractors, field service providers, suppliers, and third-party stakeholders.
• Background within EV Charging, Renewable Energy, Electrical Infrastructure, Telecoms, Construction, Facilities Management, or similar technical industries.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure or electrical installation projects.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, site surveys, and installation requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM/project management platforms.
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
