Job Details

The Project Manager/Estimator has responsibility for managing awarded projects/orders from start to finish. This position is responsible for ensuring projects/orders are delivered on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with existing customers, develop relationships with new customers, and support prospects for new business.
• Collaborate with Estimating, Programming, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure lead time, quality, and profitability targets are achieved.
• Support all Quality Management System requirements and specific customer requirements.
• Ensure all job activation requirements are met.
• Participate in daily Nitro Production Meetings and weekly Capacity Planning Sessions.
• Oversee project quality, adherence to budget, timeline, and specifications.
• Manage subcontractors to meet quality, lead time, and profitability levels, including invoice verification.
• Oversee contract billings and approve invoices for proper cost coding.
• Review job cost reports and prepare profit projections.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety rules; conduct oneself professionally and ethically.

Requirements

• Experience in Estimating and Project Management for sheet metal processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.
• Strong customer interaction skills, including email and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of Excel, AutoCAD, ERP systems, and Estimating software.
• Knowledge of Trumpf equipment is a plus.
