Full Job Description

Ameri Pro Restoration is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Project Manager / Estimator with expertise in Xactimate software and fire and water damage restoration. This dual-role position is critical to the successful planning, estimation, and execution of residential and commercial restoration projects. If you excel in both managing projects and estimating costs with precision, we invite you to be part of our team.

Responsibilities

  1. As a Project Manager:
    1. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    2. Oversee daily operations on-site to ensure timely project completion and adherence to quality standards.
    3. Lead construction crews and subcontractors, providing clear direction and guidance.
    4. Conduct daily meetings with team members to address progress, challenges, and next steps.
    5. Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations on all projects.
    6. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
    7. Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams, to align expectations and resolve issues.
    8. Manage material purchasing and coordinate deliveries to align with project timelines.
  2. As an Estimator:
    1. Utilize Xactimate software to prepare detailed and accurate project estimates.
    2. Conduct on-site assessments of damaged properties to document losses and determine repair needs.
    3. Analyze project scope to calculate costs for labor, materials, and equipment.
    4. Communicate with insurance adjusters to ensure agreement on project scope and pricing.
    5. Review and revise estimates as necessary to reflect project changes or additional work orders.
    6. Maintain meticulous records of estimates, project changes, and communications.

Qualifications

  1. Education & Experience:
    1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Estimator in the fire and water damage restoration industry.
    2. Proficiency in Xactimate software is required.
    3. IICRC certifications in Water and Fire Mitigation are highly preferred.
    4. Demonstrated experience with both residential and commercial restoration projects.
  2. Skills:
    1. Strong knowledge of restoration processes, industry standards, and best practices.
    2. Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, and project teams.
    3. Analytical mindset with attention to detail for accurate estimates and efficient project management.
    4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  3. Additional Requirements:
    1. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
    2. Ability to work in challenging environments, including damaged properties and construction sites.
