Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in the Nashville area to lead commercial TI/build-out projects from estimate through completion.

You will manage project staff, subcontractors and client relationships, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial PM/estimating, proficiency with Timberline/Procore/Bluebeam/Paskr, and resides in Middle Tennessee.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PM in commercial construction.
• 5+ years project management experience in commercial industry.
• Experience with estimating software: Timberline, Procore, Bluebeam, Paskr.
• Must reside in Nashville area.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and clientele, coordinating project staff and subcontractors/vendors.
• Estimate projects and plans, coordinating all activities to meet goals within time and budget.
• Work with architects, vendors and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Compensation Overview:

Salary Range (DOE); ++ Bonus can be up to 50%/year (or more) depending on performance of the project; Full Benefits/Insurance Options; Auto/Phone Allowance/month; PTO + Holidays

Experience Required to Start a Conversation:

• 5+ years estimating commercial projects with Timberline, Procore, Bluebeam, Paskr or similar software systems
• 3+ year or more of estimating & project managing experience with commercial TI/Build-Out projects
• Local Nashville (Middle-Tn) relationships and exposure to coordinating with Architects & Investment/Development companies
• Experience with negotiating material prices & scheduling orders, deliveries, etc.
• 4 year college degree or equivalent (construction management) preferred
• Lives in local Nashville area (no relocation assistance provided)
• Residential construction experience will NOT be considered as equivalent.

Position Summary

Manages projects & clientele including the project staff and subcontractors/vendors. The PM Estimates the projects & Plans, coordinates all activities of each designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Skills and Abilities

• Build-Out / Ground-Up project experience (preferred)
• Commercial Construction Experience (Projects $250K-$5+MM)
• Analytical | Budgeting | Scheduling Expertise
• Estimating & Bidding Experience (requred)
• Negotiating | Contracts experience is necessary
• Impeccable organizational skills
• Relationship buildingexperience with owners around the area

Education/Experience

• Construction Management or Business (Bachelor’s) degree - Preferred.
• 5+ years of PM experience in the commercial new-remodel construction industry
• 5+ years of Project Management construction experience required in commercial industry.
• The selected candidate will also have a clean drivers license, drug screen and background check to be eligible for this opportunity.
