About the Role

Rainbow Restoration of Northeast Indianapolis is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager and Estimator to take ownership of job execution from day one. This position is for a restoration professional with 5–10 years of proven experience managing mitigation and reconstruction projects in an insurance-driven environment. The ideal candidate is already proficient in scoping, estimating, and overseeing crews and subcontractors—and knows how to drive a job from initial inspection through final completion with precision and accountability. We’re looking for a confident leader who can walk onto a job, assess the damage, build the scope, and move it forward without hesitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as first on-site for mitigation and reconstruction jobs
• Scope damage, sketch the structure, and develop estimates in Xactimate and Symbility
• Coordinate demo, drying, and reconstruction teams
• Communicate with customers, adjusters, and subs throughout the job
• Ensure all documentation meets IICRC and carrier standards
• Support finish selections and assist homeowners during rebuild projects
• Maintain accurate timelines and update internal systems for production tracking
• Take full responsibility for project quality, timelines, and profitability

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in the restoration or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of mitigation and reconstruction, including IICRC S500/S520 standards
• Proficient in Xactimate and Symbility
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple jobs independently
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT)

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
• IICRC certifications (FSRT, OCT, CPT)

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $65,000 – $85,000/year, depending on experience
• Quarterly performance bonuses with $100,000+ annual earning potential
