Position Overview
The Project Manager supports OCHIN's mission by leading projects such as EHR implementations, third-party vendor integrations, Epic enhancements, or internal technical initiatives. They scope, plan, oversee, track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure project success.
The Project Manager acts as the primary contact for member management during projects, ensuring member satisfaction, possibly traveling onsite for key events, and fostering strong relationships built on trust in the partnership.
A successful project manager is organized, detail-oriented, a clear communicator, capable of building cross-team relationships, trusted by members, and able to influence without direct authority. They report project updates to upper management, ensuring projects stay on track, KPIs are met, and risks are managed.
The Senior Project Manager has a proven record of managing complex or multiple projects simultaneously. They handle escalations, serve as operational leaders, mentor less experienced staff, and may evaluate project management operations, training needs, or tool enhancements to improve practices across the division.
Essential Duties
Project Manager:
