Job summary

WSB is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead civil and environmental engineering projects from concept through construction, providing oversight and coordination with clients and agencies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering, an EIT, and 6+ years in design and construction oversight. PE licensure is preferred; proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and travel to project sites are expected.

What you will do:

• Lead civil and environmental engineering projects from concept through construction
• Lead CERCLA or brownfield investigation and remediation projects

What you will bring:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management or similar degrees
• PE License in ID or any state (or ability to obtain one within 6 months) preferred
• Engineer in Training (EIT) license is required
• 6+ years of experience in design and construction oversight
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience with permitting and environmental compliance
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites
• Our preferred candidate will also bring:
  • Experience working with municipalities or public agencies
  • Familiarity with NEPA, SWPPP, NPDES, or related frameworks
  • Project management training or certification
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 10+ years of experience within environmental engineering, CERCLA, Brownfields, and remediation projects
