Freeport-McMoRan in New Orleans seeks a Project Manager Engineering II to lead safety, engineering, procurement, construction, and customer service for major capital mining projects.
Responsibilities include managing scope, cost, schedule, safety, and quality; reviewing scopes of work and supporting senior project managers on projects over $200 million. The role requires strong leadership and cross-disciplinary coordination; hybrid in-office schedule in New Orleans.

Employees in New Orleans mostly follow a hybrid schedule where they are required to work in office, attend in-person meetings or training and may also collaborate virtually. New Orleans is a popular tourist destination known for its rich history, architecture, cultural arts, music, and cuisine. Many great hotels, galleries, restaurants, and museums are a short walk from the office.
What You Will DoManage engineering, procurement, and construction management activities within the mining company. Project manager will generally be responsible for projects in the $200 million range.

What We Offer YouThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently$138,000 - $193,000 This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration. Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
