Freeport-McMoRan in New Orleans seeks a seasoned Project Manager to provide technical leadership in engineering project management. You will review requirements, assemble teams, manage schedules and report status.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with several years of experience, or a long track record with a HS diploma. The office offers hybrid work in the Lower Garden District and a comprehensive benefits package.
Our office is located in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans, Louisiana. Employees in New Orleans mostly follow a hybrid schedule where they are required to work in office, attend in-person meetings or training and may also collaborate virtually. New Orleans is a popular tourist destination known for its rich history, architecture, cultural arts, music, and cuisine. Many great hotels, galleries, restaurants, and museums are a short walk from the office.
Under general supervision, provides technical expertise, guidance and leadership in engineering project management.
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $120,000 - $167,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration. Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
