Overview:

Colorado Lighting (CLI Services) is seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical project execution—ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and customer satisfaction. You will lead projects from initial planning through closeout, coordinating teams, materials, and schedules to ensure success.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement electrical projects from start to finish.

Communicate with customers to confirm schedules, address installation concerns, and ensure satisfaction upon completion.

Assist in sourcing materials and coordinating with the purchasing department for updates.

Work closely with warehouse staff to load/unload vehicles and ensure materials/tools are ready for the install team; occasional job site deliveries may be required.

Manage and maintain project documentation, including punch walk reports and data input.

Oversee daily work order management.

Create and manage project timelines and schedules.

Lead project closeout processes.

Take detailed notes during customer and project meetings.

Respond to customer feedback and manage any necessary resubmittals or revisions.

Provide project updates and reports to customers.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team environment.

Provide daily direction and support to the project team.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required: Current Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician license.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on field experience in electrical work.

At least 2 years of project management experience in the electrical or construction industry.

Solid understanding of project management principles and tools.

Proficient in the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

Effective leadership and team coordination abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage stress and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education & Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

Familiarity with strategic planning, risk management, and change management.

Experience with project management software tools.

Prior experience in lighting-related projects is a plus.
