Job summary

EdgeHill Integrated Systems seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead multi-trade construction projects in Nashville. You will drive planning, safety, scheduling, and coordination with General Contractors, subs, and clients to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include managing permits, bids, RFIs, submittals, and project closeout, while mentoring team members and upholding EdgeHill values of integrity, precision, growth, and relationships.

Qualifications

  • A.S. Degree in a construction related field is preferred, but not required if experience levels are high.
  • Minimum of 5 years related construction experience in similar positions is expected.
  • Proven track record as a team player and effective manager.

  • Manages project startup, including obtaining permits and licenses.
  • Analyzes and scopes subcontractor/vendor bids.
  • Manages and oversees overall RFI and submittal processes.

  • Coordinates with superintendent and internal teams to maximize profits and mitigate financial risks.
  • Mentors and trains others on EdgeHill policies and processes.

Job description

EdgeHill Integrated Systems was created to bring Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing scopes together under one coordinated trade platform. By integrating these major building systems, EIS is able to improve communication, reduce coordination gaps, identify conflicts earlier, and create a more consistent approach from estimating through project closeout. Our focus is not only to perform individual trade scopes, but to understand how each system impacts the others in the field. Through shared planning, coordinated buyout, aligned scheduling, consistent QA/QC, and strong field leadership, EIS supports a more efficient construction process and helps deliver projects with better control, accountability, and predictability.

The Electrical Project Manager delivers projects according to their plans, schedules, budgets, quality expectations, selections and specifications, with the right attitude, courtesy and professionalism as it relates to their team, subcontractors and customers.

SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Leads and models safety as a core guiding principle
  • Manages project startup, including obtaining permits and licenses
  • Analyzes and scopes subcontractor/vendor bids
  • Manages and oversees overall RFI process and tracking log
  • Manages and oversees overall submittal process and tracking log
  • Leads in development, planning, and updating of overall project schedule
  • Prioritizes and expedites material deliveries according to project schedule requirements
  • Co-leads internal coordination/schedule meetings with superintendent
  • Manages COs and subcontractor CO Log
  • Creates accurate financial project projections
  • Works with SPM/PX to maximize profits & mitigate/resolve financial risks
  • Assists superintendent with local AHJ inspection needs
  • Manages overall closeout process
  • Prioritizes and actively mentors and trains others
  • Demonstrates adherence to EdgeHill policy and processes and teaches EdgeHill policy and processes to new team members
  • Works closely with General Contractor, subcontractors, consultants, inspectors and internal clients to develop lasting relationships
