Job summary

Grant Associates in New York City seeks a results-focused project manager with 18+ months of experience in managing programs across schools, vendors and senior leadership. You will adapt PM methodologies, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.

You will coordinate with school staff, DOE partners, and external partners, raise risks, report to leadership, and support data-driven decisions using MS Office and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 months of demonstrated effectiveness working in project management, development, and implementation.
  • Experience managing stakeholders including school staff, vendors, SMEs, project teams, and senior leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with Office and collaboration tools.
  • Willingness to learn DOE-specific data systems and navigate relevant platforms.
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and collaboration, with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage programs in education-related contexts across NYC schools and partner organizations.
  • Coordinate with school staff, vendors, SMEs, teams, and leadership to align goals.
  • Adapt PM methodologies and trackers for small and large-scale initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively, set priorities, and monitor deadlines in fast-paced settings.
  • Troubleshoot and support online meeting platforms and data systems.
  • Support data pulls and reporting to inform leadership decisions.
