Job summary

Grunley Construction is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the complete execution of a complex construction project, serving as the primary liaison between field, office, and senior management.

You will lead the project team, manage CPM schedules, payments, subcontractor coordination, and risk mitigation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with top quality and safety standards.

The role will be located at Grunley's Rockville HQ for 6 months leading up to project startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business.
• Minimum five years of construction experience.
• Procore and Primavera P6 scheduling software experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete project execution, coordinating field, office and senior management.
• Provide leadership, support, and training to the project team.
• Lead CPM schedule development, updates, time impact analysis and progress reporting.
• Manage subcontract administration, change management, and buyout processes.

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the complete and satisfactory execution of the entire construction project. The PM serves as the focal point for coordination of all project information between the field, office, senior management and the entire project team. The PM provides leadership, support, and training to the project team.

Reports to: Project Executive

The role will be located at Grunley's Rockville HQ for 6 months leading up to project start up.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business

Required Experience

• This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of construction experience.

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of construction project management software (Procore and P6 scheduling) is required.
