Job summary

Westinghouse Staffing Services, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Project Manager with engineering experience for the Value Engineering Team within the Engineering and Construction unit. The role manages innovative engineering projects from design through implementation impacting the Solar and BESS portfolio.

This is an onsite role with per diem provided. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring project milestones, scope, and budget

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing engineering projects from design to implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional project teams and coordinate multiple team members.
• Strong project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from conceptual design through commissioning and implementation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to identify product improvements or cost reduction ideas.
• Support implementation by providing technical input and project feasibility assessments.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and partner communications.
• Attend industry conferences and network with suppliers and vendors.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices for project delivery.

• Understanding of engineering design processes, technical specifications, and implementation challenges
