Job Overview

The Project Manager will lead technical teams, oversee project profitability, and manage client relationships. Responsibilities include managing project reports, budgets, staff supervision, technical proposals, and ensuring project milestones are met.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage geotechnical consultation, construction phase testing, and inspections.
2. Lead team assignments, workload balancing, and drive business development.
3. Supervise field exploration programs and oversee construction activities involving foundations, earthwork, and excavations.
4. Develop proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets for geotechnical investigations.
5. Coordinate laboratory testing and analyze subsurface data for design recommendations.
6. Prepare and review geotechnical reports and construction inspection reports.
7. Communicate with clients and contractors regarding project progress and results.
8. Manage project finances, including invoicing and subcontractor payments.
9. Mentor staff and support training programs for professional development.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Soil Science, Geology, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 5+ years of experience in geotechnical consulting, construction testing, and inspection.
• Experience with construction phase testing, laboratory testing, and geotechnical analysis.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate personal/company vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and geotechnical software.
• Ability to work outdoors and in office settings.
