Job summary

Volarify is seeking a Project Manager - Drywall to join our Richmond, VA team. The role focuses on developing, overseeing, and delivering drywall projects, coordinating field operations, budgets, and client relationships.

The candidate should have 3+ years of PM experience with an estimating background; 2+ years as an Assistant Estimator is a plus. This in-office role involves working both at job sites and in the office in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or Accounting preferred (noted in ad).
• 3+ years of Project Management experience with substantial estimating background; 2+ years as Assistant Estimator.
• MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate project budgets using historical data from prior projects.
• Periodically visit pending and active projects to ensure proper field methods.
• Maintain knowledge of local material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Oversee and track all labor on each project, including subcontractors and internal staff.
• Provide predetermined deliverables in a timely manner, including verification of all completed work.
• Manage and develop team members to support professional growth within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Management

1. Develop accurate project budgets by utilizing historical data from previous projects

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

1. B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or Accounting is preferred
2. 3+ years of Project Management experience with a substantial estimating background, including 2+ years as an Assistant Estimator
3. MBA is a plus
