Job summary

Fortune 500 hospitality company is seeking a Project Manager (digital projects) to drive complex initiatives from inception to launch. Based in Parsippany, NJ, you will lead cross-functional teams across websites, apps, and MarTech, balancing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.

You’ll navigate Agile/Scrum and Waterfall in a hybrid environment, manage vendor relationships, and deliver executive-ready updates.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years delivering digital projects (web, mobile, eCommerce or MarTech)
• Led full website replatforms or digital launches in a matrixed organization with multiple vendors
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall, using hybrid approaches

Responsibilities

• Lead complex digital projects from start to finish (websites, mobile apps, MarTech)
• Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and critical-path dependencies
• Manage scope, change control and release planning including MVP and post-launch phases
• Own RAID management and mitigation planning
• Coordinate multiple vendors and ensure SOW deliverables meet deadlines
• Track project finances including actuals, forecasts, and invoices
• Oversee testing readiness (UAT, defect triage, regression, go/no-go)
• Run status meetings and executive updates
• Write concise status reports for senior leadership
• Adhere to PMO governance and audit documentation

Job description

Our client is a Fortune 500 hospitality company in innovation, scale, and service. They are now looking to add to their team and are hiring a "Project Manager (digital projects)”. This role will be based out of Parsippany, NJ.

Duties

• Lead complex digital projects from start to finish: websites, mobile apps, MarTech and content platforms
• Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and critical-path dependencies across several workstreams
• Manage scope, change control and release planning, including MVP and post-launch phases
• Own RAID management (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and put mitigation plans in place
• Coordinate several third-party vendors and hold them accountable for SOW deliverables, defect fixes and deadlines
• Track project finances, including actuals, forecasts and estimates to complete, and confirm vendor invoices
• Oversee testing readiness, including UAT, defect triage, regression and go/no-go decisions
• Run status meetings, Scrum of Scrums and steering committee updates
• Write concise status reports for senior leadership
• Follow PMO governance, including project control documents, funding requests and audit documentation

Skills

• Over 7 years of project management, with at least 3 years delivering digital projects (web, mobile, eCommerce or MarTech)
• Has led full website replatforms or digital launches in a matrixed organization with many vendors
• Comfortable with both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall, and with hybrid approaches
• Good working knowledge of digital platforms such as CMS (Adobe Experience Manager preferred), analytics, SEO and content authoring workflows
• Very proficient in Jira and Confluence; experience with Smartsheet, MS Project or Clarity
• Advanced Excel skills for tracking and reporting metrics
• Strong at managing vendors and negotiating with them
• Clear, executive-ready writing and speaking; can keep complex status brief
• Spots risks early, solves problems and makes decisions under deadline pressure
• Builds working relationships across business, technology, creative and vendor teams
• Hospitality, travel or loyalty experience is a plus

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• PMP certification preferred
• Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP or SAFe) preferred
