Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D), which now includes Project Management Advisors (PMA), is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Los Angeles.

This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA.

B&D partners with institutions, municipalities, and organizations to deliver complex real estate and capital projects through strategic advisory and program management services across the full project lifecycle.

B&D recently joined forces with Project Management Advisors (PMA), bringing together two nationally recognized leaders in program management and real estate advisory services. Together, the combined firm offers expanded capabilities across industries and end-to-end project delivery—from early-stage strategy through design, construction, and occupancy.

As a Project Manager, you will lead planning, design, and construction activities for complex development and capital projects, working closely with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and public agencies. Projects may include site and infrastructure improvements, park and public realm development, and new building construction. You will help navigate entitlement and approval processes, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and drive projects from early planning through successful delivery.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and project teams throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Manage planning, design, and construction activities for technology and corporate real estate projects
  • Review and evaluate project requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives and client goals
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, schedules, and reporting tools
  • Analyze project costs, schedules, and risks to support informed decision-making
  • Coordinate procurement of design, construction, and consultant services
  • Support contract development, negotiation, review, and administration
  • Oversee the development and review of architectural and engineering drawings and bid documents
  • Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and drive accountability across stakeholders
  • Engage with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and local agencies to communicate project status and resolve issues
  • Evaluate potential budget and schedule impacts and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Lead value engineering discussions and review alternative solutions with project teams
  • Coordinate specialty consultants and peer reviews as required
  • Provide guidance and support to Assistant Project Managers and junior team members
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, schedules, and quality standards
  • Support contract issuance, purchase orders, and progress payment reviewsObserve and report on construction progress, risks, and field conditions
  • Manage project closeout activities and successful turnover to clients
  • Participate in business development initiatives, networking opportunities, proposals, and client presentations

This role's target base annual salary range is currently $100,000-150,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, candidate abilities, and pay relative to other team members.
