Job summary

RCG, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Deputy PM) to support a federal program. This full-time, on-site role requires five days per week at the customer location and an active Secret clearance.

The Deputy PM will assist in planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, coordinating with government stakeholders and technical teams to ensure on-time, on-budget results in alignment with contract requirements.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, PM, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of project management experience.
  • Experience leading IT projects from initiation through completion.
  • Strong understanding of PM methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and team coordination skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing multiple IT projects from initiation through completion.
  • Support project scheduling, resource planning, and budget management to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate communication among project stakeholders to maintain alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and overall progress.
  • Prepare project documentation, executive reports, presentations, and status updates for leadership and customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure projects meet customer expectations and contractual requirements.

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance
Salary Range: $140,000 – $155,000 (DOE)

The Opportunity

RCG is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Deputy PM) to support a federal government program in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring five (5) days per week at the customer’s location.

The Deputy PM will assist in leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects while working closely with government stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership. This individual will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.

  • Occasional interaction with executive leadership and government stakeholders
