Vantage Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager for data center / mission-critical construction based in Frederick, Maryland. You will own complex projects from planning through commissioning, coordinating trades and ensuring safe, on-time handover.

The role offers up to $170,000 base salary DOE, plus vehicle allowance and bonus, with autonomy as the mission-critical division expands. You must have 5+ years in PM on data centers or similar, be on-site five days a week in Frederick,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering complex construction projects.
• Background in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial construction or technically complex MEP projects.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets, subcontractors, schedules and project delivery.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, controls or automation-related construction activities.
• Ability to manage projects independently in fast-paced environments.

Project Manager – Data Center / Mission Critical Construction

Experienced in delivering complex construction projects? Looking for more ownership, bigger challenges and the opportunity to join a business with a rapidly growing data center portfolio?

I'm partnering with an established and expanding mission-critical engineering and automation business that's secured several major data center projects and is investing heavily in its construction delivery team.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager who understands what it takes to deliver technically demanding construction projects, coordinate multiple trades and drive successful project delivery from preconstruction through commissioning and final handover.

This isn't simply a role overseeing schedules and contractors. We need someone who understands the construction process, can anticipate problems, manage technical challenges and take genuine ownership of project delivery.

What will you be responsible for?

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering complex construction projects.
• Background within data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial construction or technically complex MEP projects.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets, subcontractors, construction schedules and project delivery.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, controls or automation-related construction activities.
• Ability to manage projects independently, make decisions and resolve issues in fast-paced construction environments.
• Comfortable working five days per week on-site in Frederick, Maryland.

Previous data center experience is highly desirable but not essential.

We're particularly interested in speaking with Project Managers who have delivered water treatment plants, manufacturing facilities, industrial plant expansions, central utility plants or other complex mechanical and electrical construction projects.

What matters most is your ability to manage construction delivery, understand the technical challenges and coordinate the people, equipment and processes needed to complete a successful build.
