Qualifications

  • BS degree required; advanced degree or PMP preferred.
  • 5+ years in project management in biopharma or life sciences.
  • 5+ years of direct project management experience supporting commercial or medical affairs.
  • Experience in pre-commercial biotech/pharma preferred.
  • Able to translate complex data into executive-ready insights.
  • Experience with PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.

Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)

HARMONi: Phase 3 clinical study which was intended to evaluate ivonescimab combined with chemotherapy compared to placebo plus chemotherapy in patients with EGFR-mutated, locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous NSCLC who were previously treated with a 3rd generation EGFR TKI.

HARMONi-3: Phase 3 clinical study which is intended to evaluate ivonescimab combined with chemotherapy compared to pembrolizumab combined with chemotherapy in patients with first-line metastatic NSCLC.

HARMONi-7: Phase 3 clinical study which is intended to evaluate ivonescimab monotherapy compared to pembrolizumab monotherapy in patients with first-line metastatic NSCLC.

HARMONi-GI3: Phase 3 clinical study intended to evaluate ivonescimab in combination with chemotherapy compared with bevacizumab plus chemotherapy.

Ivonescimab is an investigational therapy not presently approved by any regulatory authority other than China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). Summit is headquartered in Miami, Florida, and has additional offices in California, New Jersey, the UK, and Ireland.

Overview of Role:

The ProjectManager rolewillbe critical in ensuring operational excellence, cross-functional coordination, and launch readiness.

Thispositionserves asa partnerto thelaunchteamwhileactingas the primary cross-functional operational contact and liaison for effective alignment, communication flow, and governance.Therolewill serve asa central pointof contact foroperationalplanning, delivery, and governance of criticallaunch planningprojects—spanning scientific communications, congress strategy,launch planning, building project management practicesand post-marketing data generationsupporting launch preparation.

This rolewill focuson day-to-day project execution, ensuring defined scope, timelines, budgets, and qualityobjectivesare met across the commercial product lifecycle.

Role and Responsibilities:
Strategic Project Leadershipand governance
  • Leadandsupportcross-functional planning and execution for launch readinesssub-team/s
  • Manageworkstreams for new product launches,indicationexpansions, and lifecycle management.
  • Establish andmaintaindashboards, KPIs, and governance frameworks tomonitorprogress,identifyrisksand develop mitigation solutions, and drive accountability.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Process Excellence
  • Partner closely with leaders in various launch functions and workstreams to ensure unified execution and prioritization. Support alignment with other launch project management team members to enhance project management effectiveness through collaboration
  • Champion, developandmanageplanning toolsfor various business processes
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and external partners to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
Projectmanagement:
  • Contributetodeveloping robust project management tools, processes for launch and day-to-dayoperations.
  • Partner with other project managers to develop,support and manageperiodic launch managementdashboards, meeting materialsand actively manage functional, sub-teams and work-streams meetings for effective launch management
  • All other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s (BS) degreerequired; advanced degree (MS, MBA, PharmD, PhD) or PMP certification preferred.
  • Minimum of5+ years of experience in project management, operational excellence, reporting, and performance management within biopharmaceutical or life sciences organizations.
  • Minimum of5+ years of direct project management experience supporting commercial ormedical affairs
  • Prior experience in pre-commercial or early commercial biotech/pharmastronglypreferred.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights.
  • Expertisein project management and process improvement methodologies (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Budget and vendor managementexperience
  • Change leadership in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive accountability without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.

Pay Transparency

$150,000 - $170,000 USD

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable variable compensation.
