Job summary

Sevan Multi‑Site Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, Construction Services to lead retail construction projects from preconstruction to closeout across the United States.

You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution while coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and profitability. The role requires strong leadership, extensive PM experience, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Science/Management or related field.
  • 5–10+ years general contracting or facilities experience.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, SmartSheet, Building Connected).
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
  • State/local GC license preferred.
  • PMP and CQMC preferred.
  • LEED accreditation or sustainable building experience preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead preconstruction activities including estimating support, scheduling, logistics, procurement strategy, and constructability reviews.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to finalize scope and execution plans.
  • Review, negotiate, and administer client, subcontractor, and vendor contracts.
  • Lead and mentor project teams including ASMs, project engineers, and field staff.
  • Serve as the primary client and stakeholder contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage project schedules using MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
  • Coordinate sequencing, subcontractor activities, material procurement, and site logistics.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
  • Review and approve invoices, pay applications, and change orders to control costs.
  • Procure, negotiate, and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.
  • Oversee quality control and compliance with contract docs and specs.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality.
  • Promote OSHA safety standards and a strong safety culture across teams.
  • Build strong client relationships with proactive communication and updates.
  • Lead project closeout including inspections, commissioning, turnover, and documents.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned.

Job description

The Project Manager, Construction Services leads construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout for our client's retail projects nationwide. The Project Manager is responsible for overall project planning, coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead all preconstruction activities, including estimating support, scheduling, logistics planning, procurement strategy, and constructability reviews.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to finalize project scope, design intent, and execution plans.
  • Review, negotiate, and administer client, subcontractor, and vendor contracts.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including assistant project managers, project engineers, and field staff, fostering accountability and collaboration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling software.
  • Coordinate project sequencing, subcontractor activities, material procurement, and site logistics to ensure timely project delivery while proactively mitigating risks and delays.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting to maintain profitability.
  • Review and approve subcontractor/vendor invoices, pay applications, and change orders while controlling costs and minimizing scope creep.
  • Procure, negotiate, and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
  • Oversee project quality control and ensure compliance with contract documents, company standards, and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, quality, and safety performance.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies while promoting a strong safety culture across all project teams.
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships through proactive communication, regular progress updates, budget reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Lead project closeout activities, including final inspections, commissioning, punch list completion, turnover documentation, warranties, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Work Conditions & Travel

This position requires 50%+ of travel across the United States. The remainder of the time, the position will be held remotely or out of our Plano, TX office in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to work with fluid schedules and working conditions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related program
  • 5-10+ years general contracting or facilities experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in construction project management.
  • Proven ability to manage commercial, residential, or institutional projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proficient in Smart Sheet, Procore, Building Connected, and other project management software.
  • OSHA 30, or ability to acquire, is required.
  • State/local General Contractors license is preferred.
  • PMP and CQMC are preferred.
  • LEED Accreditation or experience with sustainable building practices is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Pay & Benefits

The anticipated compensation range for the position is $95,000 - $108,000 is based on a full‑time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, flexible paid time off, paid holidays, sick time, and a matching 401K plan.
