Job description

As a Project Manager – Construction (m/f/d), you will actively contribute to the sustainable development of our site. With your coordination skills and self-driven approach, you will successfully manage construction and environmental projects. Based in Usingen, you will help shape the future of satellite communications.

Your tasks

• Independently manage and oversee construction projects from planning and execution through to successful completion and acceptance
• Coordinate and supervise construction activities in both building and civil engineering projects
• Manage and coordinate activities in the following areas:
  • Antenna and radio communication sites
  • Fiber‑optic and network infrastructure
  • Electrical installations (e.g., EV charging infrastructure)
  • Foundations, building services, and modernization projects
• Ensure compliance with construction regulations, permits, legal requirements, and governmental obligations in close collaboration with planners, consultants, and contractors
• Plan and implement ecological compensation and environmental enhancement measures around the earth station site
• Take responsibility for project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Identify and manage project risks, develop pragmatic solutions during project execution, maintain project documentation, and provide regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders

Your profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in construction management or project management, ideally within a multidisciplinary technical environment
• Broad technical understanding across multiple disciplines combined with a pragmatic hands‑on mentality
• Experience managing complex construction and infrastructure projects, including multiple projects running in parallel
• Sound knowledge of construction law, environmental regulations, and nature conservation requirements
• Experience working with authorities, permitting procedures, and regulatory frameworks
• Structured, independent, and solution‑oriented working style
• Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills, combined with the ability to drive projects forward effectively
• Team‑oriented, proactive, and accountable personality
• Required language skills: German – C1, English – B2
